Sonja Gerber, born in Zurich, Schweiz
From an early age Sonja was interested in movement, particularly in Tap Dance and Ballet. Her first contact with Pilates was in 1999, ever since Pilates was part of her life and she has trained regularly, in 2004 she decided to qualify as a Pilates teacher.
She chose to get trained by Romana Kryzanowska, protégée of Joseph Pilates and her daughter Sari Mejia Santo, New York. After completing the 700 hour program covering all apparatus, she successfully got certified.
Since November 2006, Sonja has been working independently as a Pilates instructor. Together with Elio Dalla Giovanna, she opened the Vero Pilates Studio in August 2007.
